THE BRAND

Established in 2016, NWP is synonymous with premium and uncompromising luxury. Primarily using silk-satins as the staple fabrics, the NWP brand is guided by a passion for the arts, travel and varying cultures. Taking inspiration from timeless fashion, NWP transforms traditional silhouettes and features into exquisite pieces for the modern woman.

Designed in London, quality is at the foundation of each of NWP’s garments, as we feel this is integral to creating pieces with longevity. NWP is grounded by a love of designing for intelligent women, and we see the fashion design and production process as a true labour of love that we nurture through to fruition.

Although stylish, our collections don’t aim to follow the trends of the seasons, as we’d like to embrace slow fashion. NWP creates garments that elicit poise and an energy of luxury, our pieces are designed for women who have a quiet confidence, who are sensitive but strong and who are effortlessly elegant. We want women to feel comfortable building a timeless wardrobe by wearing and re-wearing our pieces for years to come.

NENGI WILLIE-PEPPLE

After graduating with a Textile Design degree from The University of Leeds, Nengi interned for Paul Smith and Diane von Furstenburg as a wholesale and buying intern, where she learned about trend spotting and obtained an understanding of the ‘core customer’ and the global fashion market as a whole.

Once Nengi had completed her internship at DvF, she moved on to work for the likes of Moschino, Gucci and Christian Louboutin to name a few. Nengi picked up an array of skills that ranged from visual merchandising to product development and garment design, and whilst working, she would think of ways to fuel her creative side, which brought about her fashion and lifestyle blog, Runway Ribbons.

From inspirational articles, to personal styling, to travel recommendations, Runway Ribbons allowed her to take up space in the fashion blogging world, collaborating with fashion and lifestyle brands such as Pandora, Olay and Ciroc Vodka to name a few. As interesting as these opportunities were, Nengi always had an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age and she knew that she would one day start her own business, thus NWP was born.
